Cycling Tour in Bagan

Meet and greet your professional guide at the airport.
Our professional guide will pick you up and transfer to the hotel.
Visit Chaukhtatgyi Reclining Buddha Image which is 230ft (70 m) long in the pose of rest; the head is lifted up by the right arm bent at the elbow.
Proceed to Bogyoke Aung San Market (Scott Market) the famous two-storey market that sells typical traditional Myanmar crafts. (closed on every Monday & public holidays!!)
Visit the Shwedagon Pagoda; the world famous glittering gold stupa, believed to have been built more than 2500 year ago.

After the breakfast, an awaiting car will take you to the airport for the flight to Bagan.
When you arrive in Bagan, visit the colorful Nyaung U Market, Shwezigon Pagoda, a circular pagoda fully covered with gold leaf coating. You walk around the outside of this bell shaped pagoda and take some beautiful photos.
Then, visit Wetkyi-in Gubyaukkyi Temple (beautiful mural paintings of Jatarka), Sulamani Temple, Ananda Okyaung and Thatbyinyu Temple (known for its great height).
Enjoy the sunset at a beautiful temple.

After the breakfast, go to the cycling shop at 7:45 am for bike fitting and safety briefing.
Rides about 2 km to reach the first stop where we can see small overview of Bagan.
The route takes in villages, quiet monasteries and pagodas but also visit small village market, famous pagodas such as Ananda, Dhamayangyi where full tours are made.
After mid-morning, discovery about the history of temples then time to break for refreshment at the foot of temple under the Acacia tree shade.
You get an explanation of the various crops that are being cultivated and they may see bamboo weaving and visit some local factories.
Finish by cycling through the back streets of Nyaung U, calling in to visit some local industries along the way.
Finally, you will be served a tea-shop lunch where guests can try some local flavours.
Return to the hotel.
