Yangon – Dala – Yangon (By car) (-/-/-) |
Our professional guide will meet you at the starting point (Yangon Post Office/Strand Hotel) at 08:30 am and go to the Nan Thidar Jetty to see people coming and going for work from either side of Yangon River.
Dala Township is located on the southern bank of Yangon river across from downtown Yangon, Myanmar. Despite its strategic location near Yangon, the township is still largely rural and undeveloped mainly because it still lacks a bridge across the Yangon river, with connections between the township and the city being by ferry only.
Transfer to Dala by ferry and arrive to Dala, you can study the ways of live of the people by trishaw or rishaw and visit local markets, local houses and the Baung Daw Gyoke Pagoda where can be seen pythons hanging in tangled knots from the windows and slithering around the statues.
After that, visit Shwe Sayan Pagoda is a significant landmark of this town.
Enjoy the local tea at a local tea shop.
Continue to visit recycle bag shop Kyut Kyut and candle making factory.
In the evening, return to Yangon by ferry.
Drop at the night market at 05:30 pm and finish at your tour.
