Itinerary

Day 1ARRIVAL MANDALAY AND SIGHTSEEING -/-/-

Meet and greet your professional guide at the airport.
Our professional guide will pick you up and transfer to the hotel.
Visit to the revered Mahamuni Bouddha Image, as well as visit the workshop where gold leaf is produced.
Visit Shwenandaw Monastery noted for its exquisite wood carvings, followed by Kuthodaw Pagoda, which is known as the World’s Biggest Book because of its stone slabs consisting of Buddhist scriptures.
To end the day with panoramic views of the city and a spectacular sunset at Mandalay Hill.

Overnight at hotel in Mandalay.

Day 2MANDALAY – DOLPHIN WATCHING TOUR (BY BOAT) B/L/D

After the breakfast, you will be picked up at your hotel by the guide.
Arrive at Mandalay Jetty and board the Living Irrawaddy Boat.
Briefing on safety and itinerary.
Boat departs Mandalay and visit Sin Kyun Community and learn about bamboo hat making.
Depart for Sein Pa Kone Community.
Lunch in Sein Pa Kone and introduction to dolphins presented by local fishermen.
Depart for Myit Kyan Gyi Community and look for dolphins along the way.
Arrive in Myit Kyan Gyi and guided walk around the village.
Free time to swim, bathe, play rattan ball, enjoy the sunset or walk around the village.
Dinner hosted by the community and storytelling by village elders.
Retire to the boat or tent.

Meals: Lunch and dinner are at the village.
Overnight at the boat or tent by the village.

Day 3DOLPHIN WATCHING TOUR - MANDALAY B/L/-

In the early morning, enjoy the sunrise and look for dolphins located nearby with fishing boats.
Breakfast on the boat and learn how to throw a cast-net.
Learn about a daily activity in the village (eg. Planting or picking peanuts)
Depart the village.
Lunch in She Ma Ga and meet local guide.
Walk to the Sacred Forest and look for wildlife tracks.
Depart for Mandalay. (visit Mingun Stupa depending on time and interest)
Arrive in Mandalay.

Meals : Lunch at the village and dinner is your own cost.
Overnight at hotel in Mandalay.
