Itinerary

Yangon – Thanlyin - Yangon (By car)

Our professional guide will pick you up from your hotel located at 08:30 am and drive to Thanlyin (formerly Syriam) by crossing the Yangon River (~1hr).
Visit Kyaik Khauk Paya .

Kyaukkhauk Pagoda is a popular tourist destination and also pilgrimage site for Buddhists. There are four stairways and the pagoda resembles a Mon-style stupa.

After that, visit Thanlyin Market to enjoy the local products.
Proceed to Portuguese Church that the walls were covered with creepers, weed and mold and there was a tomb inside the surrounding walls.

Visit Kyauktan Yele Pagodaa pagoda on a tiny island in the middle of the river. To reach it you catch one of the many launch ferries from the river bank.

Kyauktan Ye Le Pagoda is on a small island in Hmaw Wun Creek, a tributary of Yangon River. The pagoda was built with many Buddha’s relics inside and hosts an impressive collection of paintings, sculptures and other fine demonstrations of Burmese Buddhist artwork and craftsmanship. You can feed the giant fish at the pagoda.

Then, transfer back to your hotel and finish your tour at 05:30 pm.
