Trekking Tour in Kyaing Tong (7 Days/ 6 Nights)

Arrival Yangon by international flight.
Meeting with your professional guide and assistance on arrival and transfer to the hotel.
You are going to visit Chaukhtatgyi Reclining Buddha Image which is 230ft (70 m) long in the pose of rest; the head is lifted up by the right arm bent at the elbow.
Proceed to Bogyoke Aung San Market (Scott Market) the famous two-storey market that sells typical traditional Myanmar crafts. (closed on every Monday & public holidays!!)
Visit China Town and in the evening, visit the Shwedagon Pagoda; the world famous glittering gold stupa, believed to have been built more than 2500 year ago.

After the breakfast, an awaiting car will take you to the airport for the flight to Kyaing Tong.
On arrival welcome by the local English speaking tour guide and transfer to ” Hotel “.
Sight seeing in Keng Tung starts with Maha Myat Muni Pagoda ( housing Mandalay Style Buddha image ) and Naung Tong lake.
Sunset on the one tree hill where alone, 245 years old Kanyin-byu(Diptero carpus Spp)tree stands.

Breakfast at hotel, take the car about 45 minutes for hiking tour into Pin Tauk area, Lahu village.
Lush mixed monsoon forest with view to the plain rice fields looking like a huge, green patchwork blanket.
Visit the village of Enn and Akha tribes. Some are baptized, some tribes still animists. The Enn are ethnic group which tourists have found particularly interesting labelling them the Black Teeth. The walk is not so difficult and can be done slowly . They live on the higher slopes. They have distinctively different costumes and beliefs from the other tribes. It will take about 4- hour to visit the villages.
Take lunch at the village.
Late afternoon come back to Hotel.

After breakfast at the hotel, take the car about 2 hours drive(33Km) away from Keng Tung to Loi Mwe.
Loi Mwe which literally translated” misty mountain ” is at an altitude of over 1600 meters above sea-level.
It commands a magnificant view of the surrounding area and enjoys a temperate climate. Once an outpost of British there remain many colonial bulidings and also catholic Church.
The main attraction along the way is the scenery on the ascent to LoiMwe, which passes through forests, terraced rice fields.
On the way to Loi Mwe you will have several stop to visit different villages, Wan Lun Shan villages, walk and explore the native village life; Ho Lap Akha village where you can see the traditional Akha tribes with their colorful dresses; Nang Cho Wa village and Pan wai Lahu village on the left and right side of the road.
Late afternoon you will be back in Keng Tung.

Breakfast at the hotel. Full day excursion to Loi tribe village.
Drive appr.2 ½ hours on the road to Mong Lar, a border town at the Chinese Border.
From there it will take1 ½ hours hike to Wan Nyut village, one of the Loi tribe villages. The Loi preferring to live in a huge long houses, including at least 5 families.
Before visiting the Loi there is an old monastery, a very beautiful one and very different other monasteries.
One hour from there is another Loi village ( Wan Seng ). Scenery is very beautiful and hiking is not so difficult.
Return to Keng Tung appr. at 17:00pm.

Breakfast at the hotel, morning visit central maket which bustles daily from 6:00 to 12:00 in the morning. The market offers products from China & Thailand and also it has local traditional clothing,antique coins and other implement for sale making good souvenirs.
Then proceed to Wat Jom Kham Pagoda (where sacred hair relic of lord Buddha is enshrined in it )and Wat Ann Monastery.
And then transfer to Keng Tung Airport from Hotel and take flight to Yangon.
When you arrive in Yangon and transfer to hotel.
